About College

 

 शासकीय महाविद्यालय सुवासरा, मंदसौर जिले की सुवासरा तहसील में स्थित है, जो यहाँ के ग्रामीण युवाओ के लिए उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त करने हेतु एक मात्र शासकीय संस्था है । जिसकी स्थापना दिसम्बर 2014 में मध्य प्रदेश राज्य सरकार द्वारा की गई थी । अपनी स्थापना के बाद से, कॉलेज शासकीय उत्कृष्ट उच्चतर माध्यमिक विद्यालय, सुवासरा के एक भवन में संचालित हो रहा था, लेकिन वर्ष 2017-18 में राज्य सरकार ने महाविद्यालय को एक अलग परिसर के लिए 1.976 हेक्टेयर भूमि आवंटित की । जहां माननीय, केंद्रीय मंत्री थावर चंद गहलोत द्वारा भूमि पूजन कर महाविद्यालय की नींव रखी गई । वर्ष 2020 में, महाविद्यालय लोक निर्माण विभाग (पीडब्ल्यूडी) और परियोजना कार्यान्वयन इकाई (पीआईयू) द्वारा विकसित 4010 वर्ग मीटर क्षेत्र पर सु-संरचित नवनिर्मित भवन में स्थानांतरित हो गया । माननीय उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. मोहन यादाव और माननीय कैबिनेट मंत्री हरदीप सिंह डंग द्वारा 17 फरवरी 2022 को आधिकारिक तौर पर महाविद्यालय के नए भवन का उद्घाटन किया । वर्तमान में महाविद्यालय 250 छात्रों की संख्या के साथ केवल कला संकाय में स्नातक उपाधि प्रदान करता है । भविष्य में उच्च शिक्षा विभाग की अनुमति के आधार पर विज्ञान एवं वाणिज्य विषयों में भी स्नातक की डिग्री प्रारंभ किया जाना संभव है ।

Government College Suwasra is located in Suwasra Tehsil of Mandsaur district, which is the only government institution for the rural youth here to get higher education. The college was established by the Madhya Pradesh state government in December 2014. Since its inception, the college was operating in a building of Government Excellence High Secondary School, Suwasara, but in the 2017-18 the state government allotted 1.976 hectares land to the college for a separate college campus where the Honorable, Central Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot laid the foundation of the college by performing Bhoomi Pujan. In 2020, the college shifted in the well-structured newly constructed building on 4010 square meter area with covered boundary of college campus developed by Public Works Department (PWD) and Project Implementation Unit (PIU). The Honorable Higher Education Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Honorable Cabinet Minister Hardip Singh Dang officially inaugurated new building of college on 17 Feb 2022. At present the college offers only Bachelor Degree in Arts Faculty with a strength of 250 students. In future, based on the permission of Higher Education Department, it is possible to start graduation degree in Science and Commerce subjects also.

उद्देश्य 

•   विद्यार्थियों को स्नातक उपाधि के साथ उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य हेतु प्रशिक्षित करना ।

•   विद्यार्थियों को शैक्षणिक के साथ अन्य अशैक्षणिक गतिविधियों जैसे खेलकूद, राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना, एन.सी.सी. की गतिविधियों के माध्यम से भी प्रशिक्षित करना ।

•   विद्यार्थियों से सम्बंधित समस्याओं को समझकर उससे सम्बंधित सम्भावित समाधान करना ।

•  विद्यार्थियों को उनकी योग्यतानुसार शासकीय योजनाओं का लाभ दिलाना एवं आगामी प्रयासों हेतु मेंटरिंग करना । 

•  महाविद्यालय पुस्तकालय द्वारा अनौपचारिक शिक्षा के रूप में ऑनलाइन एवं ऑफलाइन माध्यम से पठन-पाठन की सुविधा प्रदान करना ।

•   विद्यार्थियों को सूचना एवं सम्प्रेषण तकनीकि की मदद से शिक्षा के नवीन आयाम एवं तकनीक से अभ्यासरत रखना, जिससे विद्यार्थी मुक्त शिक्षा संसाधनों का अधिकाधिक उपयोग कर सकें एवं परिस्थितिनुसार पठन-पाठन कर सकें ।

Objectives

•   To train students for their bright future with graduation degree.

•   To also develop the students for extra-curricular activities like sports, NSS and NCC activities along with academics.

•   To understand the problems related to students and make a possible solution related to them.

•   To provide benefits of government schemes to the students as per their ability and to provide mentoring for their future endeavours.

•   To provide the facility of reading and learning through online and offline mode in the form of informal education by the college library.
